BigXThaPlug, born Xavier Landum, already sparked buzz for this project with the album’s lead single “All the Way” featuring Bailey Zimmerman, which hit the top five on the Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up, “Home” with Shaboozey, gained traction after a viral video shoot shut down a Dallas street.
Unveiled at CMA Fest 2025, I Hope You’re Happy grew from a rumored EP into a full album. Its artwork, depicting BigX with blue flowers, suggests a personal narrative. Available for pre-order in digital, CD, and vinyl formats, the album follows X’s 2024 breakout Take Care, which featured the hip-hop smash hits “Mmmhmm” and “Back on My BS.”
I Hope You’re Happy Now will be out everywhere on Friday, August 22nd.
