Luke Combs took to social media Wednesday evening to announce that his newest single, “Back in the Saddle,” will be available everywhere on July 25th. Combs has been teasing the track since the start of the summer, and fans are now getting their wish granted with the release.
His latest release, a collaboration with Jon Bellion, was met with mixed reactions, but this newest single sounds like a return to his rowdy, party-anthem ways.
While he’s not out on a specific tour, he has appearances at festivals nationwide, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and a show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom.
A titan of the genre right now, Combs’s last album, Father and Sons, may not have been the most commercially successful project, but it resonated with so many different fans. Songs like “Fast Car” and “Where the Wild Things Are” still dominate the charts and playlists everywhere, nearly two years after their release.
Hailing from North Carolina, he was the first country artist to have three certified Diamond singles by the RIAA when they were announced in August 2024. “When It Rains It Pours” and “Beautiful Crazy” have also amassed over 2 billion streams on Spotify, making him a part of an exclusive club of artists to reach the feat.
“Back in the Saddle” will be out everywhere next Friday.
