Chattanooga-based singer-songwriter Jonas Conner, aged 15, has announced his new single, “33’s,” set for release this Friday, August 15th. The young artist shared a preview of the track on Instagram, strumming acoustically on a rock in a wooded area.
In the teaser, Conner plays guitar and sings lyrics from “33’s”, with the caption,“I wrote this song about loving at the wrong time.” “On days like this, I get to thinking, get to wishing you were mine / On nights like these, you complicate this conversation of you and I / Oh, I’m over it all.”
Conner, fresh off his most recent single, “Too Young, Too Dumb,” continues to find his voice as a budding singer-songwriter. Produced once again by Cameron Whitcomb, “33’s” follows his pattern of blending simple lyrics true to his teenage experience with smooth country instrumentation. His work has previously resonated with, earning streams in the millions and praise from artists like LeAnn Rimes.
