Just hours after the release of his song “Madeline” featuring Gabriella Rose, Zach Bryan took to Instagram to share that his sixth LP With Heaven On Top is set for release on January 9, 2026. The Oklahoman Son shared the striking album cover on social media, featuring himself kneeling in a lush forest beside a loyal dog, with a reflective pond mirroring the serene scene. The font on the cover art matches that of “Madeline,” which suggests that it will act as the lead single for the project.
This year, Bryan repeatedly teased an album “by the end of the year,” though the January 9th release date would seem to push that back a bit. The album is expected to include previously hinted tracks like “In Dreams” and “Plastic Cigarette.” It also follows the success of recent surprise releases “Streets of London,” “River Washed Hair,” and “Song for You,” which are not expected to be included on the tracklist.
As of yet, there’s no word on whether the cinematic Motorbreath project, teased, almost a year to the day before the album’s release, will tie into the record, or even still be on the docket for Zach. Narrated by Matthew McConaughey, it was said to document Bryan’s two-week motorcycle journey across America.
The singer-songwriter previously billed this project as his “final major label album” however, since Zach recently renewed his contract with Warner music, it would seem that he still has a few more records left in him.
With Heaven On Top will be out everywhere on January 9th.
