In typical Zach Bryan fashion, he shared an unexpected announcement on Saturday afternoon, teasing that his upcoming single, “Madeline” is set to drop this week. The Oklahoma native shared the news via social media, unveiling striking cover art featuring himself leaning out the window of a classic Corvette, evoking a nostalgic, free-spirited vibe. While no specific release date was confirmed, the reveal comes

This announcement follows Bryan’s recent release of three tracks“Streets of London,” “River Washed Hair,” and “Song for You”—on just over a week ago, after his historic sold-out performances at London’s BST Hyde Park. Recorded at David Bowie’s former studio, the songs all debuted in the top 10 on Billboard’s Rock Digital Song Sales chart. He described the tracks as “tunes that didn’t belong on a record,” but still emphasized that a new album is on the way.

As of yet, there’s no confirmation as to whether or not “Madeline” will be included on this uncoming LP.

Back in January, Zach also teased a cinematic project tied to his upcoming album with a voiceover by Matthew McConaughey. The film, titled Motorbreath follows him with his compadres on a two-week motorcycle journey across America, documenting the creation of what was said to be his “final major label album.”

As Bryan prepares for “Madeline,” he’s also hinted at a forthcoming album, he’s also teased that “In Dreams” and “Plastic Cigarette” will be included. Fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be another soul-stirring addition to his catalog, cementing his status as a leading voice in country music, whether he wants to be or not.
