This afternoon, Zach Bryan has announced a new collaboration titled “Bowery”, set to drop this Friday, August 8th. In an Instagram post accompanying the reveal, Bryan shared a photo series showing him and the members of Kings of Leon gathered at a dimly lit bar with 70s inspired text on each slide with the song’s title. The post also included the heartfelt line, “Honor of my life.”

The song marks a significant crossover moment, pairing Bryan’s raw, heartfelt country storytelling with the Southern‑rock sensibilities of Kings of Leon, who has undoubtedly influenced a lot of his self-produced work. More cently, Kings of Leon opened for Bryan at several MetLife Stadium shows in July, and Zach has frequently cited these fellow Oklahomans as his “favorite band of all time.”

Up to this piont, fans have eagerly anticipated Bryan’s next musical chapter. He’s previously teased songs like “Madeline”and “Dreams” for the upcoming album With Heaven On Top, due in early 2026, but the formal announcement of “Bowery” comes as a welcome sign that new music is a lot closer than January of next year.

With its Friday release date fast approaching, “Bowery” promises to be a deeply personal crossover release—candid yet polished—uniting two beloved forces in modern Americana and alternative rock. Zach has previously teased the song several times on Instagram, and played it in his recent concerts, but Friday will mark its official release. As of yet, there’s no word as to whether it will be included on With Heaven On Top.
