Tanner Usrey, the Prosper, Texas-based country-rocker will release his new album, These Days, this Friday, July 11th. The album follows his 2023 debut, Crossing Lines, and builds on his reputation for raw vocals and introspective songwriting. In April, Usrey announced the album’s release, which was proceeded by the lead single “Don’t Let Go.”
These Days explores themes of self-worth and resilience, blending country, rock, and blues influences. Produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell), the album showcases Usrey’s soulful vocal range and aims to capture the intensity of his live performances. “Working with Cobb really pushes my voice in a way that I haven’t before,” Usrey said in an interview with Entertainment Focus, noting the influence of albums by Whiskey Myers, Chris Stapleton, and Jason Isbell on his creative process.
Usrey, influenced by artists like Alan Jackson and Whiskey Myers, has garnered hundreds of millions of combined streams. The release aligns with his Bad Love headlining tour, which has kept him busy in between opening slots with Cody Jinks and Ella Langley. He is also scheduled to perform at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October.
These Days will be out everywhere this Friday.
