At long last, Morgan Wallen will release his cover of “Graveyard Whistling” tonight at midnight wherever you stream music. The track, originally by Nothing But Thieves from their 2015 debut album, appeared early on streaming platforms for users in Australia due to time zone differences.
Images shared on social media depicted the single on Apple Music and Spotify, with cover art showing a crow perched on a fence beside a graveyard in sepia tones.
Wallen first performed the cover during the Abbey Road Sessions in March 2024, where a YouTube video amassed millions of views. An Amazon Music Original version launched in June 2025, achieving a first-day streaming record for the platform. A limited-edition vinyl followed in September 2025, featuring a B-side of “Dark Til Daylight.”
This release broadens access to all major streaming services. It’s just the latest in Wallen’s prolific 2025 run, marked by the drop of his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in May. The LP included collaborations with artists like Tate McRae, Eric Church, and Hardy, blending country introspection with his usual crossover appeal.
Wallen then launched the “I’m The Problem Tour” in January, comprising 19 stadium shows across North America with rotating direct support acts. The tour concluded on September 13th in Edmonton, Alberta, after a run of sold-out performances that showed off his nearly unparalleled draw as a live act in country music. Throughout the year, Wallen also supported community efforts via the Morgan Wallen Foundation, donating proceeds from select shows. To top it all off, Wallen’s next single, “20 Cigarettes,” will impact country radio on Friday October 20th.
