Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley performed a new duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” live for the first time Saturday night at Wallen’s show in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The song is scheduled for release this coming Friday (April 24th) and marks the first time the two have appeared together on a studio recording, after a long string of live duets.

The track carries a sultry, 70s-influenced sound reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac, centering on two people caught between exhaustion with a dysfunctional relationship and an inability to fully walk away from one another.

On stage, Wallen remarked, “Ella wrote this song about a month ago and sent it to me, and I loved it the second I heard it.”

Eagle-eyed fans may have spotted the collaboration coming. The letters “ICLYA,” an acronym for the song’s title, appear on a Tennessee license plate in the music video for Langley’s recent single “Choosin’ Texas,” a subtle easter egg planted ahead of Friday’s announcement.

Though this is their first recorded collaboration, Wallen and Langley have built a well-documented friendship over the past two years. Langley served as a support act on Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” tour in 2025, and the two have performed together onstage on several occasions, often dueting his song “What I Want.” Langley is also set to join Wallen on his 2026 “Still the Problem” tour.

“I Can’t Love You Anymore” will be available everywhere this Friday, April 24th.
