Originally set to drop on Monday, June 30th, Zach Bryan shared on Instagram tonight that “Streets of London,” will now drop on Tuesday, July 1st, alongside another track, “River Washed Hair.” He explained the delay on social media, stating, “yoooo decided to put two songs out instead of just one so it’s gonna take an extra day!! Songs’ll be out Tuesday sorry sorry sorry.” No specific release time was shared. Bryan described the songs as “kind of just tunes that didn’t belong on the record, and they didn’t fit on an EP either, so I’m just releasing them to get them out into the world cause I love them.”
A few times, Zach teased that a new album will yet be in store for 2025. In tonight’s barrage of InstaStories, he shared that “In Dreams,” “Madeline,” “Plastic Cigarette,” “Bowery,” and “Rockaway,” will all be included, urging fans to “just fuckn chill” as he makes it special.
The 29-year-old recorded “Streets of London” at David Bowie’s former studio in London, sharing a nostalgic connection: “I took this photo three years ago at Islington Assembly Hall where I got to sing with Turnpike last night. Full circle is a fuckn understatement.” Fresh off his Quittin’ Time tour, which concluded in 2024, Bryan has kept a dynamic presence with surprise singles like “Blue Jean Baby,” “Dear Miss,” and “Memphis; The Blues,” the latter with John Moreland and JR Carroll after a brief online spat with Moreland.
Come July, Zach will return stateside for a three-show run at MetLife Stadium supported by Kings of Leon. Bryan’s pop-up appearances across the U.S. and U.K. continue to bolster his growing international profile. “Hope you guys enjoy them. I love each one of ya!! even the folks who talked mad shit all year,” he wrote, addressing his fans warmly.
“River Washed Hair” and “Streets of London” will be out everywhere tomorrow.
