Zach Bryan announced the release of a live recording of “Atlantic City,” featuring Bruce Springsteen and Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon. The track, set for release for this Friday, September 12th, was recorded during Bryan’s July 20th performance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The announcement was made via Bryan’s social media, where he stated, “Atlantic City live from Jersey with The Boss and Caleb Followill from Kings of Leon is out Friday. Been a hell of a summer, roll um easy.”
The performance occurred during the third of Bryan’s three sold-out shows at MetLife Stadium, marking the first time a country artist performed three consecutive nights at the venue. Springsteen, a New Jersey native, and Followill joined Bryan on stage for a rendition of Springsteen’s 1982 song “Atlantic City” from the album Nebraska.
Bryan and Springsteen previously collaborated on the 2024 track “Sandpaper” from Bryan’s album The Great American Bar Scene. Followill, who recently recovered from a heel injury, has also worked with Bryan on recent singles “Bowery” and “We’re Onto Something,” released last month. The live “Atlantic City” recording is expected to precede Bryan’s upcoming project, With Heaven On Top, scheduled for January 9th.
