Country Central has announced its third annual showcase at CMA Fest, set for June 5th on the CMA Close Up Stage inside Fan Fair X in Nashville. The lineup features Charles Wesley Godwin, Willow Avalon, Wyatt Flores, and Stella Lefty. Tickets and details are available through the CMA Fest website.
The showcase, billed as Country Central Presents, continues a run the outlet has built over the past two years as a platform for emerging and breakout country artists at one of the genre’s marquee annual events. Previous editions have featured Tucker Wetmore, Vincent Mason, and Midland, among others.
This year’s lineup represents a cross-section of country’s rising independent tier. Godwin, a West Virginia native, has built a devoted following through his Appalachian-influenced songwriting, and steadily emerged as a viable mainstream force.
Flores has already solidified himself as one of the most-watched new artists of the last few years, and looks to tae a big step with his forthcoming sophomore LP. Avalon and Lefty round out a bill that leans toward artists who have gained traction largely through word of mouth and streaming rather than conventional radio promotion.
CMA Fest runs from June 5–8 in Nashville.
