This morning, Noah Kahan shared that he’ll be releasing a new song called “Draw You Out” next week, serving as the he lead single from The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album). The track arrives October 2th, with the full soundtrack following November 13th.
Kahan shared the news Thursday morning, writing that the song came from a place he’d wanted to reach for a long time. “This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I am so grateful for the opportunity to write for this moving film, having adored the works of art by Suzanne Collins,” he wrote.
“I was already totally connected and inspired by the tragic yet hopeful story of Haymitch and Lenore Dove, and writing a song about the purpose, grief and perseverance through pain that they exemplify was an experience I’ll always be grateful for. This is an incredible film, and I am so honored to be a small part of it.”
The song reunites Kahan with producer Aaron Dessner, who co-wrote and co-produced the track. The two worked together on The Great Divide, Kahan’s May release that debuted at No. 1 and posted the biggest streaming debut of 2026. “Draw You Out” was recorded at Long Pond Studio in New York along with Gold Pacific and East Iris Studios in Nashville.
The soundtrack brings together 29 cross-genre artists and is executive produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson). Kahan is currently on the sold-out Great Divide World Tour, which ran through North American stadiums this summer and continues into arenas across the U.K., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand this fall.
“Draw You Out” will be out everywhere on October 2nd.
