Freshly after announcing the release of her song “Never Left Me” from the “Twisters” soundtrack, country music’s current leading lady is already back with another single on the way next Friday. Megan Moroney has teased “Man on the Moon” for some time over the last few months, and it’s been a mainstay in her concerts as she tours the country with Kenny Chesney. The song is expected to be included on her forthcoming sophomore album “Am I Okay?” which will be out everywhere on July 12th.
The song is a sassy barn-burner that sees Meg wishing her ex could be jettisoned into space, never to be seen again. Much like the title track of her album Lucky, its spunk and attitude are its strongest qualities, backed by some electric, honky-tonk guitar lines.
