Up-and-comer Max McNown has just announced his fall “Forever Ain’t Long Enough” tour. The run kicks off July 21st in Kansas City, with tickets going on sale Friday, June 6th. He will also perform at CMA Fest and Lollapalooza this summer.

The announcement, made on NBC’s 3rd hour of TODAY, not only revealed Max’s new tour, but included a set date for the release of his future deluxe album.  The new deluxe edition, Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up), will be released on August 18th, just under a month before he hits the road. The first edition of his project, Night Diving, released earlier this year, was followed by his 2025 EP The Cost of Growing Up, which previewed four of the new bonus tracks from the upcoming deluxe.

McNown’s career began on the streets of Southern California, busking for tips, before turning down an opportunity to compete on American Idol.  The Oregon native keeps authenticity at the core of his music, drawing inspiration from the struggles of the human experience. His gold-certified track “A Lot More Free” is a great example of the kind of music he makes, dissecting the freedom that follows heartbreak and the slow clarity that reveals it as a gift.

Night Diving (The Cost of Growing Up) will be out everywhere July 18th.
