Megan Moroney has revealed plans for her third studio album, entitled Cloud 9 and due out on February 20th. Pre-orders for the signature pink vinyl edition opened today, signaling the start of a new era for the multi-platinum artist.
In a press release, Moroney described the project as a personal evolution: “I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together. Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry, and it was fun to play around sonically while still staying true to what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
The announcement follows a cryptic social media blackout over the weekend, replaced by a pink-themed rebrand and a teaser video released Sunday. Cloud 9 succeeds her sophomore effort, Am I Okay?, which cemented Megan Moroney as country music’s leading lady in 2025. Since then, she’s released two singles in “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things,” the former of which has already hit #1 at country radio. So far, there’s no official news on what the next single will be and when it will arrive.
Cloud 9 will be out everywhere on February 20th.
