Megan Moroney announced on social media Tuesday that her new single “Cloud 9,” the title track of her forthcoming third studio album of the same name, will be released this Friday, February 6th.
In the post, Moroney wrote: “this one’s for the lover girls 💕 THE TITLE TRACK! CLOUD 9!! OUT FRIDAY!!! ☁️ one more song before the album… i hope you love it as much as i do… it’s a long way down ;)”
The full album is slated for release on February 20 in two weeks. It will feature 15 tracks, including previously released singles such as the Gold-certified “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things.” it will also see Moroney join voices with Kacey Musgraves and Ed Sheeran.
Moroney, who rose to prominence with the breakout smash “Tennessee Orange,” has become one of country music’s fastest-rising stars in recent years, earning multi-platinum certifications and regular radio airplay.
In support of the new album, Moroney will embark on the eponymous Cloud 9 Tour beginning May 29th in Columbus, Ohio. The tour includes multiple arena dates across North America, with additional stops announced in Europe and the United Kingdom later in the year.
Cloud 9 (the song) will be out everywhere this Friday.
