Koe Wetzel has announced “Jaded,” a new single featuring Ella Langley, set for release this Friday, August 7th. The track will appear on the deluxe edition of Wetzel’s most recent album The Night Champion.
“Jaded” was written by Wetzel and Langley alongside Jordan Schmidt and ERNEST. It marks the second collaboration between the two artists, following “That’s Why We Fight,” the lead single from Langley’s 2023 Excuse the Mess EP.
Both artists addressed the reunion in statements. Wetzel said Langley has been “one of my favorite people to write and sing with for a long time,” adding that returning to the studio together was “something we talked about every time we saw each other.” Langley noted that Wetzel was “one of the first artists I ever got to collaborate with and one of the first I went out on the road with back in 2022.”
The release comes during a significant moment for Langley, whose single “Choosin’ Texas” has spent 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She currently has three songs within the chart’s top ten, with “I Don’t Love You Anymore” and “Be Her” joining “Choosin’ Texas.” For Wetzel, it follows a 2025 that included his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “High Road,” which iHeart Radio named its top country song of the year.
“Jaded” is out this Friday, August 7th.
