New details have emerged regarding the timeline of Jon Pardi and Summer Pardi’s split, following the couple’s earlier confirmation of their divorce.
A source told Us Weekly that the pair have been having major issues since last year, and all but separated right before the holidays in December, even unfollowing each other on Instagram. According to the report, the two later refollowed one another on social media before announcing their split on July 3rd.

The source added that while Summer was “fed up” with Jon, she held the marriage together for their daughters before ultimately filing for divorce.
Summer filed for divorce in Tennessee on May 12th, citing “irreconcilable differences,” roughly two months before the couple’s public statement. In the filing, she requested to be named the primary residential parent of the couple’s two daughters, Presley, three, and Sienna, 23 months, if the two are unable to agree on a parenting plan. She also asked for an equitable division of marital assets, the return of her separate property, and alimony, arguing that Jon has the ability to pay.
Jon has not publicly commented on the divorce filing beyond the couple’s joint statement. He has since said he is stepping back from social media to focus on himself and his family.
