After weeks of teasing, Gavin Adcock has revealed his next single “Wannabe’s” release date, which is slated to be out everywhere on May 1st, this coming Friday. Starkly reminiscent of the Georgia-based bro-country movement of the 2010s.
The song follows a string of recent releases, including “Colorblind,” “Perfect Man” and his star-studded collaboration project Country Never Dies, which featured guest assists from the likes of Vincent Mason, Jake Worthington, and many others. The chorus lays out the thesis plainly:

In 2026, Adcock has built off his breakout year in a big way, joining Morgan Wallen on tour, as well as launching his own headlining run, “The Day I Hang It Up” tour.
“Wannabe” will be out everywhere this Friday.
