After weeks of teasing, Gavin Adcock will release his new single, “Perfect Man,” this Friday, November 21st. Co-written by Adcock with Rhett Akins, Colton Venner, and Jack Hummel, the track is said to be a reflective and vulnerable departure from his usual high-energy style.

Adcock stated the song is intended “to bring the world together instead of tearing it apart,” adding, “I didn’t write this for ‘perfect Christians’, it’s for sinners like me that are just trying to be a little better every day. Just because you’re a sinner doesn’t mean you can’t turn things around.”

The release follows the August drop of Adcock’s sophomore album Own Worst Enemy, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 14 on the all-genre Billboard 200 as the week’s top-streaming new album.

Adcock, a Watkinsville, Georgia native and former Georgia Southern University football player, has amassed over 1.5 billion global streams across his catalog. His breakout single “A Cigarette” is RIAA Platinum-certified, while “Run Your Mouth,” “Deep End,” and “Four Leaf Clover” are Gold-certified. In Canada, “A Cigarette” achieved Platinum status, with four additional singles certified Gold by Music Canada.

The 25-year-old recently completed his headlining Need To Tour, which included a sold-out Canadian run. He is nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 60th ACM Awards and will join Morgan Wallen for select stadium dates on the 2026 Still The Problem Tour.

“Perfect Man” will be available everywhere Friday.
