Pop-country starlet Dasha has revealed that her latest single, “Oh, Anna!” will be out everywhere this coming Friday, July 11th. The track, initially teased at CMA Fest back in June, offers a personal reflection as Dasha addresses her younger self by her real first name.
From the early teases, this song is a bit of a detour from the line dance-ready singles that have been Dasha’s calling card as of late. Backed by quiet acoustic chords, Dasha sings, “I feel more like a scared little kid than I ever did back then. I need you to come back a little, come back a little, make me that girl again, oh Anna!” Its narrative, paired with a restrained guitar lead, evokes the intimacy of a diary entry.
Dasha introduced “Oh, Anna!” at CMA Fest 2025 in Nashville. The release follows her recent single, “Not At This Party,” which has already proven to be her biggest single since “Austin.” A remix by David Guetta added a few million extra streams, and unlocked some broader, extra-country appeal in the pop space. Co-written by Ashley Gorley and Ben Johnson, “Not At This Party” marks the start of her sophomore country project, with “Oh Anna!” being the second single.
Dasha will next tour with Thomas Rhett and Dylan Scott, starting on “Oh Anna!’s” release day, in Camden, NJ.
