Canadian country and folk artist Colter Wall has unveiled his upcoming album, Memories and Empties, slated for release on November 14th. The album’s lead single, “1800 Miles,” will be available for streaming starting at midnight ET tonight. Fans can preorder the vinyl edition of the album through ColterWall.com.

At the end of August, Colter Wall shared a clip of him playing 1800 Miles acoustically; the song looks to be an outsider anthem of sorts ignoring the flashy mainstream music scene.

I don’t know what you think you’ve been told. If I ever was for sale, I never sold. It’s short on flashing lights and rhinestone clothes, 1800 miles from Music Row.”

“It’s Tyson songs on the fiddle and guitar. And the pedal steel man drives a real mean bar. You won’t hear it on your radio. It’s 1800 miles from Music Row.

Ahead of this announcement, Wall revealed a string of tour dates exclusively within the state of Texas. The tour, featuring support from Hayden Redwine, includes two nights each in Austin (starting January 16) and Houston, with a concluding show in Fort Worth on January 24. Two additional Texas dates remain undisclosed, with specific venues for all shows yet to be specified. The Texas run is part of Wall’s broader 2025-2026 touring schedule, which includes rescheduled performances across the Midwest, Canadian Prairies, and Southwest.

Known for his deep baritone and evocative storytelling in songs like “Sleeping on the Blacktop” and “Plain to See Plainsman,” the Saskatchewan native continues to resonate with audiences through his traditional country and Western sound.
