Colter Wall has canceled the remainder of his current “Memories and Empties” tour and announced an indefinite hiatus from live performances, citing a decline in his mental health.

In a message shared with fans on Instagram, the Canadian country and folk singer said the decision came after struggling to continue touring despite worsening mental health.

“Myself and the band and the crew are very grateful for the privilege to play music together for you. We thank you for it,” Wall wrote in the statement. “The truth is that I am mentally unwell. Despite this, I have pushed myself to continue with touring. As a result my mental health has only further declined.”

“After discussions with my team, we have decided to cancel the remaining shows and take an indefinite hiatus from live music,” he continued. “Thank you for your understanding and support. Tickets will be refunded automatically from original point of purchase.”

The cancellation comes just months after Wall revealed plans for his 2026 “Memories & Empties” tour. Announced in November, the run was set to begin with a stretch of shows in Texas before expanding across parts of the Midwest and Southwest. Support on select dates was expected from Hayden Redwine in January and February and Kade Hoffman in March.

The tour announcement also coincided with the release of Wall’s latest album, Memories and Empties, which arrived in November.
