Bailey Zimmerman has announced the surprise release of a new single, “Chevy Silverado,” set to drop tonight at 11 p.m. CT. The track arrives just one week ahead of Zimmerman’s sophomore album, Different Night Same Rodeo, due out August 8.
The singer shared the news via Instagram, describing the track as one of his most personal to date.
“It’s a song I wrote about my first truck that I bought off of my grandpa when I turned 16,” Zimmerman wrote. “I wanted to give y’all one more song before my new album drops next week, and this one is so personal to me that it felt like the perfect one.”
The release continues a busy stretch for Zimmerman, who has remained active on the road and in the studio. He is currently supporting Morgan Wallen on the I’m the Problem tour and has recently performed at festivals including Sand In My Boots, where he debuted another single, “Comin’ In Cold.”
Zimmerman’s upcoming album follows his red-hot 2023 debut, Religiously: The Album, which broke streaming records for a country release and produced three No. 1 singles. Different Night Same Rodeo looks to expand on Zimmerman’s blend of traditional country and pop-rock, with confirmed features including Luke Combs (“Backup Plan”) and recent collaborators Diplo (“Ashes”) and BigXThaPlug (“All the Way”).
In addition, Zimmerman was recently spotted filming in Las Vegas with The Kid LAROI, fueling speculation about an upcoming crossover single titled “Lost.” The collaboration is listed with ASCAP but has not yet been formally announced.
“Chevy Silverado” will be available everywhere tonight at midnight ET.
