Zach Top took to Instagram to announce his newest single, “Beer For Breakfast,” to be released on August 30th.
This release follows Top’s wildly successful album, Cold Beer and Country Music, released earlier this year. In late June, Top released a live rendition of his breakaway single, “Sounds Like the Radio,” but has yet to release anything since. Fans and critics alike have praised Top for harkening back to the styles of some of the best country acts of the 1990s.
Despite a fairly active social media presence, Top’s upbringing in country music suggests a far more traditional route to Nashville than most of his beers. The Washington native began his career playing in traveling bluegrass bands before eventually venturing out as a solo act. Out on his own, he made his first debut on the Billboard charts with “Sounds Like the Radio” in January of 2024.
Zach Top is now on the road, touring his headlining shows and supporting other artists. From now until August 18th, he’s at the top of the bill before he goes on to support Lainey Wilson in her “Country’s Cool Again” tour. He’s slated to be on the road in some capacity until November 16th.
“Beer For Breakfast” is slated for release on August 30th; as of yet, no other information about the single or a potential full-length project is available now.
