Zach Bryan will perform at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, on September 6th. He’ll be joined by Shane Gillis and Dermot Kennedy as opening acts. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
Although not part of an official tour, this is the fourth location Bryan has announced performances at. With shows in Ann Arbor, Michigan, San Francisco, and New Jersey, he’ll be covering a lot of ground this year in addition to a few international appearances.
Home of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the venue is full of college football history. With a capacity of 80,000, he’ll likely sell it out, given that he recently sold out the biggest stadium in the country earlier this year, The Big House, at the University of Michigan.
His friendship with comedian Shane Gillis continues to be an enigma, as they were both spotted shaking hands with President Donald Trump at the Super Bowl this year. Now that Gillis is opening for Bryan at a concert, it marks the first time they’ve collaborated on something outside of supporting the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bryan’s personal life has also been a topic of conversation among fans. After a public breakup with Brianna LaPaglia last fall, Bryan has channeled his emotions into his music, creating a raw, authentic connection with his audience. Despite declaring that he would no longer tour, he has announced a string of select performances, including appearances at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and international shows in Ireland and the U.K.
