This morning, Willow Avalon has announced her third studio album, Pink Pocket Pistol, set for release on June 26th via RCA Records, alongside the release of new single “Cardinal Sin” featuring Jason Isbell, out today with an accompanying music video.

In her album announcement, Avalon wrote: “I can’t believe this is happening but Pink Pocket Pistol the album is yours June 26th. This record is the beautiful and sweet fruit of years of heartache, revenge plots and a little pinch of everlasting love. I’ve never been more in love with something I’ve created and this record process was one of the most special and fulfilling experiences I’ve ever been a part of. Thank you to everyone who played on this record. Thank you to my band, my team and all the people who recorded it. Thank you to RCA for having us. I love this record soo much, I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

The album follows a series of impressive milestones for the Georgia native, with her single “Tequila and Whiskey” garnering tens of millions of streams, which led to notable collaborations with Charles Wesley Godwin, Waylon Wyatt, and of course, Jason Isbell.

On “Cardinal Sin,” Avalon shared: “I wrote this tune almost 2 years ago and shared a chorus of it on TikTok. Y’all held onto it in a way I never expected. I kept coming back to it, thinking of the right time to put it into full fruition but that right time was abundantly clear when someone who I’ve admired their writing and songs for years said they would sing it with me. I’ve been a fan of Jason’s for so long. I’m honored he joined this one. He brought exactly what this song needed and I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to share it with y’all.”

Pink Pocket Pistol will be out everywhere June 26th.
