Tyler Childers has just posted a mysterious video, likely hinting at the release of a longtime unreleased fan-favorite titled “Oneida.” Posted via X, the caption read, “June 12, 8am ET,” which is speculated to indicate the exact time of release.

The clip features the same actor from several of Childers’ previous videos, seated in a barber’s chair. As he gets up, a woman named “Oneida” is revealed to be next in line. The highly sought-after track has been famously performed by the Kentucky native on his live Red Barn Radio performance, along with other tracks like “Charleston Girl” and “Follow You to Virgie,” which have never received full studio productions. Although he released Live on Red Barn Radio I & II on streaming platforms, fans have continued to hope for proper studio releases of these early favorites.

Tyler has recently taken to Instagram, posting the same teaser while wiping his profile picture and all previous posts. With 1.6 million followers, the sudden move is sure to make a lasting impact. The new track, along with the social media reset, likely signals the beginning of a new era, building momentum toward an upcoming album confirmed to be produced by legendary producer Rick Rubin.
