Tyler Childers has just revealed his new album, Snipe Hunter, which will be released on July 25th. He also dropped a newly recorded version of “Nose On The Grindstone” this morning.

The upcoming album, which will feature thirteen tracks, is available on Apple Music. The cover art, showing Tyler seated in a reading chair in a library, has also been included. An official announcement has been made on his website, www.TylerChildersMusic.com, where you can pre-save and preorder Snipe Hunter.

The new version of “Nose On The Grindstone” was first released alongside a live performance streamed on YouTube. The updated arrangement features Tyler on acoustic guitar with an organ player. Being the first official release from the project, updated takes on unreleased fan favorites and other tracks previously heard only live are possible.

Listeners have been eagerly waiting to hear songs like “Jersey Giant” and “Follow You to Virgie” get their own entirely produced studio versions. Another highly sought-after deep cut, “Oneida,” was teased in a video Tyler posted early yesterday morning, likely a hint at its inclusion in the upcoming album. While we’ll likely hear a few revived live staples, fans are still buzzing about the new songs on the horizon. With thirteen tracks on the way, there’s no telling what new stories and layers of his artistry might emerge.
