After exploding onto the scene during the summer of 2024, Ty Myers has announced his debut album, The Select, will be released on January 24th, 2025. The first single, “Can’t Hold Me Down,” will be available this Friday.

His first EP, Ends of the Earth, was a smash hit with the title track and “Drinkin’ Alone,” garnering over 30 million streams on Spotify. Additionally, this year, he sold out his first headlining tour, the “Let ‘Em Talk” tour, with 21 dates spanning three months.

Myers is an astonishing 17-year-old. He’s got an incredible grasp on songwriting and has honed an astonishing voice when other singers take years to learn. His grandmother and father were heavily influenced by him from an early age, so concepts of family and tradition have been a heavy theme in his minimal catalog.

With his young age comes a generational understanding of social media. “Ends of the Earth” and “Let ‘Em Talk” have been used nearly 150 thousand times on TikTok, which has helped him propel his career to the point it is now. Like many others, he started posting videos of him singing, which went viral, allowing him to communicate with his avid fanbase.

Signed with Columbia Records, his world has opened to immense talent. He’s also shared the stage with greats like Cody Johnson and Willie Nelson. He has two dates left in 2024, supporting Cody Johnson and Flatland Cavalry. He has also announced five festivals he will be appearing at in 2025. Fans can purchase tickets to upcoming shows from his website and through second-hand ticketing platforms.
