Though the 68th annual Grammy Awards ceremony is going down tonight (February 1st), the country categories were presented this afternoon. Highlighting the nominations list is Chris Stapleton, adding a twelfth Grammy award to his voluminous collection.

The rest of the categories saw relative newcomers earn their first trophies. Shaboozey and Jelly Roll picked up Best Country Solo Performance, and neo-traditional heroes Tyler Childers and Zach Top each snagged an award in Best Country Song and Best Traditional Country Album, respectively.

Notably, this year marks the first time that the Country Album of the Year award is split into two separate categories; the change arrived one year after controversy surrounded the 2025 ceremony, when Beyoncé won Best Country Album while competing against some of the genre’s most established artists.
