Stella Lefty is set to release her new single “Good at Leavin'” this Friday, the singer-songwriter announced this week alongside a short snippet of the track, featuring the song’s hook.

The 23-year-old Los Angeles-based artist, born Stella Lefkofsky and raised in Glencoe, Illinois, broke through earlier this year with “Boston,” a country-pop single built around an interpolation of Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season,” for which Kahan received a co-writing credit. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 95 in April before climbing into the top 20 the following month.

Lefty signed to Atlantic Outpost after her earlier singles gained traction online, and she built her following largely through TikTok and Instagram covers of artists like Tyler Childers and the Band Perry before pivoting to original material. She has since performed at Stagecoach, opened for Cameron Whitcomb on his Fragile Egos Tour, and made her CMA Fest debut earlier this month.

“Good At Leavin‘” will be out everywhere this Friday.
