By now, it’s well known genre-agnostic star going country, as he’s been showing his love for the genre for a couple of years. Fans fell in love with the sound and have been eager for a project to be in the work sense. Pictures have been posted in the studio of him with artists like Brad Paisley and ERNEST. Now with the Luke Combs teaser, Country Post is closer than ever.

March 22, 2021: Post’s Cover of “I’m Gonna Miss Her” is posted on YouTube
- Nearly three years ago, Post gave fans their first taste of him playing country music. Fans immediately fell in love with this cover and have been begging for a hard release since this moment. He just seemed to be having fun with this cover but shortly after he expressed his true passion for country music. Since then, he has made comments about how he grew up on country music and would love to eventually put out a record.
September 7, 2023: Stagecoach Lineup Revealed
- Fast forward two and a half years, Stagecoach announced their 2024 lineup that revealed Post would be playing the second day of the event. They announced he would be playing a special set of only country covers. Stagecoach is set to take place on the last weekend of April this year.
November 8, 2024: Post Performs at CMA’s
- At the recent CMA Awards, we finally saw Country Post live in action. He joined HARDY and Morgan Wallen on stage for their take on Joe Diffe’s “Pickup Man.” Immediately after the performance it was released to all streaming platforms as part of Hixtape Vol. 3: Difftape. It will feature all Joe Diffe covers and the full record is set to be released on March 29.
February 1, 2024: Lana Del Rey Announces She’s Working on a Country Project
- At the top of the month, Lana Del Rey announced that she is working on her first country album. Outside of Post, she was one of the first pop artists to announce she would be testing the country waters.
February 11, 2024: Beyoncé Releases Two Country Songs
- Just a couple of weeks after Lana Del Rey made her announcement. Pop star Beyoncé released two country songs. It is starting to look like pop artists going country is becoming more and more of a trend. The main difference between this and Post is that Post has shown interest in this for years now.
February 15, 2024: Post Malone Teases Song With Luke Combs
- Most recently, Post Malone teased a song with Luke Combs. Combs is coming off yet another incredibly successful year thanks to his album Gettin’ Old and the chart-topper “Fast Car.” Fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting for Post to release country music and it seems the moment is right on the horizon.
