Post Malone has released his viral cover of Brad Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her” exclusively to Amazon Music.
On Instagram, Post remarked, “This song has meant so much to me for a long time and l’m honored to be able to cover it. Love you @bradpaisley 🙂 “
The rapper-turned-country-singer originally covered the song on YouTube three years ago, and it became an immediate fan favorite. Since then, fans have been pushing for the rap star to go country. Three years later, their wishes have been granted as his country album is officially on the way. He has teased music with country stars Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs. He is also playing at the country music festival Stagecoach this weekend (April 26-28th).
Now that his cover of “I’m Gonna Miss Her” is on a streaming platform, the Post Malone country era is officially underway. Ideally, the cover will be on all platforms eventually, but it is enough to tide listeners over until the rest of his upcoming music comes out.
