This morning, Muscadine Bloodline has launched their latest album today in a remarkably unconventional way. The duo announced that their new record is available exclusively on vinyl, with no teasers, no tracklist, no album art, and not even a title revealed until fans receive their copies in the mail.

Describing the move as “silly” and “reckless,” Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton emphasized three core principles behind the decision: trust, prioritizing fans, and the element of surprise. “Y’all trusting us that every time we make one of these things, we’re bringing our best,” Muncaster said, assuring fans of the album’s quality and its distinction from their previous work. Stanton added, “We didn’t want to make a big deal out of teasing it… we just wanted to give it to you guys.”

The duo’s strategy is rooted in nostalgia and a desire to stand out. “Call it stupid, call it bad business, call it nostalgia, but it’s just where our hearts are right now,” Stanton remarked. Fans who purchase the vinyl will experience the album in its entirety for the first time upon unboxing, complete with unseen artwork and an undisclosed title. For those without a record player, each vinyl includes a link sticker to access a digital playlist, keeping the experience exclusive to buyers.

Muncaster described the album as a “hoodie, drink-around-the-fire kind of record” for the fall season, but kept further details under wraps to preserve the surprise. “We’re really excited, really nervous about how this is all gonna shake out,” Stanton admitted, expressing confidence in the project’s quality.

The album is out now and available for purchase at Muscadine Bloodline’s official store. Fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure one of the limited 3,000 copies.
