Morgan Wallen Tops Billboard’s Year-End Charts

Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” has claimed the top spot on Billboard’s year-end Hot 100 chart. It was the longest running #1 song this year spending 16 non-consecutive weeks atop the chart.

Wallen is the first country singer to top the chart since the late Kenny Rogers in 1981. He had 40 songs enter the chart with five songs entering the top 10, all from this year’s album One Thing At A Time.

The song surpassed Harry Styles’ “As It Was” for the longest chart topping song without an accompanying artist.

Luke Combs joins Wallen in the top 10 as the only two country songs to make it. Combs’ smash summer hit “Fast Car” lands at #8.
Wallen’s album One Thing At A Time surpassed Adele’s 21 which logged 24 non consecutive weeks atop the list in 2011-12. The album debuted on the chart dated March 18 and remained there for the next 12 weeks
