Morgan Wallen posted a snippet of a new song on his Instagram on Friday morning. The post was captioned “I guess” with no other context given.
While he hasn’t teased much original music recently, Wallen has been active on social media, making an appearance in Drake’s recent music video as well as with fellow tourmates ERNEST and Bailey Zimmerman. Following the CMA awards, Wallen released “John Deere Green” as part of the project HIXTAPE Vol. 3 DIFFTAPE.
Wallen is coming off a monstrous year in 2023 with some of the most commercially successful songs of the year in all of the music with his hit “Last Night”. Wallen’s album One Thing At A Time was his third studio album and captured numerous sales and streaming records.
Recently, his song “Last Night” was announced as the most streamed song of 2023 in any genre. The song was streamed 1.016 billion times across various platforms, passing Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.” Released in January of 2023, it immediately jumped to the top of the charts. It reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in March and spent 16 non-consecutive weeks in the top spot.
