Luke Combs has announced the release of a new single, “Be By You,” set to arrive this Friday, a part of his The Way I Am, due out March 20th.
Combs shared the a clip with fans on social media, reviving excitement around a song that many first heard in snippet form last year. Even in its early preview, “Be By You” stood out as a trademark Luke Combs track, built on sincerity and Southern imagery, a la “jon boats,” “sweet home holler,” and the like.
With lines about waking up next to someone and finding beauty in the unfiltered moments, “Be By You” follows the same spirit of his simple love songs like “Better Together” and “Beautiful Crazy.”
“Be By You” marks Combs’s first release since the single “Sleepless In a Hotel Room,” and sets the tone for what’s shaping up to be the biggest album of the spring in country music. This summer, Luke will hit the road on his “My Kinda Saturday Night tour, spanning stadiums the world over with support from Dierks Bentley, Ty Myers, The Script, and many others.
“Be By You” will be out everywhere next Friday, February 13th.
