This morning, Luke Combs unveiled his highly anticipated sixth studio album, The Way I Am, slated for release on March 20th. The announcement brings an end to months of speculation sparked by a mysterious countdown on Combs’s official website, which concluded today (January 7th).
The 22-song project follows 2023’s Gettin’ Old and culminates the steady stream of new material previewed throughout 2025, including “Days Like These,” “15 Minutes,” and “My Kinda Saturday Night.” His highly teased single “Sleepless In a Hotel Room” was also released today, in conjunction with the announcement.
The Way I Am arrives amid a historic run for Combs, who recently became the highest RIAA-certified country artist of all time with 168 million units sold. The release will coincide with his massive My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, which will take him across stadiums in North America and Europe, including stops at Neyland Stadium, Lambeau Field, Wembley Stadium, and Slane Castle.
The origins of this album cycle trace back to August, when Combs took an unusually transparent approach to new music. He launched a new Instagram account, @lcombs77, sharing 13 unreleased acoustic demo tracks after tweeting about potentially “crowd-sourcing” his next record. The raw worktapes sparked immediate fan engagement and speculation, with several demos now believed to have evolved into songs on The Way I Am.
The Way I Am will be out everywhere on Friday, March 20th.
