While revealing the tracklist to her upcoming album, Whirlwind, Lainey Wilson announced she will be releasing her new song, “4x4xU” on the Fourth of July. America’s birthday is shaping up to be a busy one in country music as Zach Bryan is releasing his new album The Great American Bar Scene and Morgan Wallen will be releasing his highly anticipated song, “Lies, Lies, Lies.”
“4x4xU” will be the third track released from this project following “Country’s Cool Again” and the lead single, “Hang Tight Honey.” Whirlwind is facing high expectations after her last album’s success. Bell Bottom Country won multiple awards including a Grammy for Country Album of the Year.
Whirlwind will have 14 tracks including a collab with Miranda Lambert. It is set to come out on August 23rd. “This album brought me back to my roots and made me feel at home during times when I couldn’t have been further away and my biggest hope is that it gives you that same sense of comfort that it has for me,” Wilson said on Instagram.
The reigning Entertainer of the Year is currently on her “Country’s Cool Again” tour which will run all the way through the end of November, for information about tickets visit her website.
“4X4XU” will be available everywhere on July 4th.
