Teamed with well-known Norwegian DJ Kygo, Carter Faith is set to release a new dance single, “That’s When You Know,” this Friday, according to a joint announcement posted to Instagram earlier this week.
The teaser, shared across both artists’ accounts, features footage apparently drawn from an accompanying music video, showing the pair driving through a small town in a convertible. The clip seems to be edited like a series of flashbacks, suggesting a nostalgic visual treatment for the track.
An audio preview included in the post indicates the song leans firmly into dance pop territory, a notable departure from the country sound Faith has built her reputation on. Her debut albumĀ Cherry Valley, released in 2025, drew widespread critical praise. She is currently preparing for an extensive touring schedule that includes a supporting role on Post Malone and Jelly Roll’s co-headlining tour.
For his part, Kygo, who has amassed tens of millions of monthly listeners, has been one of the top DJs in dance music for well over a decade, having previously worked with artists including Jonas Brothers, Ava Max, and Khalid. The pairing with Faith marks a crossover between the electronic and country spaces that has become increasingly common in mainstream pop.
“That’s When You Know” will be out everywhere this Friday.
