Koe Wetzel Announces New Song “High Road” With Jessie Murph

Texas country renegades Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph are set to release their highly-touted new duet “High Road,” this Friday, June 7th. The song marks a rare collaboration for Koe, who hasn’t released a proper duet since 2017’s “Love” alongside Parker McCollum. It will be the fourth new song from Koe’s upcoming album “9 Lives;” this album cycle, he’s been making steady in-roads into mainstream country music, and “High Road” sounds like the most palatable song to country radio to date.

Koe Wetzel, known for his gritty vocals and dark storytelling, has been a staple in the Texas country music scene for some time now. His raw and emotional approach to songwriting has garnered him a dedicated fan base both in and out of his home state of Texas. On the other hand, Jessie Murph has garnered a lot of hype in the alt-pop and trailer-trap spaces on the strength of viral collaborations with the likes of Jelly Roll and Polo G.
