Kameron Marlowe has announced that his new single, “Seventeen,” will be released this Friday, May 30th. He made the announcement via his official Instagram account, where he included a teaser of the upcoming track.
Upon posting the new snippet alongside a few black-and-white photos, Kameron Marlowe wiped his entire page of previous content. A move like this could begin a new era for Kam. Following his album Sad Songs for the Soul, Marlowe is ready to pick up the pace, as heard in the clip from his new song, which is noticeably more uptempo. Playing on the bliss of being seventeen years old, Marlowe sings, “For every bad decision, there’s a good memory.”
As heard on Sad Songs for the Soul, Kameron Marlowe has always had a heart for meaningful lyrics. While this new era brings a fresh sound, that same intention is still etched into his music. “Seventeen” may signal sonic growth, but it doesn’t come at the expense of the soul that sets his music apart.
Kameron Marlowe will bring his new momentum to the road this summer as a supporting act on Parker McCollum’s self-titled “Parker McCollum” tour, which kicks off in June. Kameron can also be seen at multiple stages during CMA Fest.
