Jason Isbell has announced that his newest solo album, Foxes In The Snow, will be released on March 7th. Fans can pre-save the album at the link in his social media bios.

Jason Isbell is one of the most prolific songwriters of this generation. He is also an avid activist for social justice and the rights of creatives and musicians. His 2013 album, Southeastern, featured some of his biggest hits, including “Cover Me Up,” “Elephant,” and “Traveling Alone.”

In addition to his solo career, he’s been a member of the bands The Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell, and the 400 Unit, each with rather successful careers. He’s carved out a unique space for himself in the alt/country music scene while incorporating many elements of Americana into his work.

Outside of the genre and communities where he first gained fame, he’s arguably the most notable after some discourse when Morgan Wallen covered his song “Cover Me Up.” At first, Isbell appeared to not have an issue with it and encouraged people to perform their own covers of the song, but after videos surfaced of Wallen saying a racial slur, tensions began to rise between the two. Zac Brown Band, Warren Zeiders, and Rodney Atkins also have their ownrenditions of the song.

Fans are still actively touring, and they can access tickets to all of Isbell’s shows from his website or through second-hand ticketing platforms. He’ll be embarking on the “An Intimate Evening with Jason Isbell” tour, which will start February 15th in Chicago, Illinois, and wrap up March 29th in Atlanta, Georgia.
