The Jack Wharff Band announced “The High Road Tour” this week, a run of headline shows set to hit clubs and music halls across the country this fall. Presale for the tour begins Thursday at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale following Friday at 10 a.m. local. Fans can request early access by commenting on the announcement post or signing up through the link in the band’s bio.
The Jack Wharff Band, comprised of vocalist Jack Wharff, drummer Garrett Howell, bassist Ryan Atchison and guitarist Evan Novoa, formed in 2023 after Wharff crossed paths with Howell and Atchison at a Richmond open mic. The group built its following through viral clips of original songs posted to TikTok before signing with Big Machine Records and relocating to Nashville.
Their sound draws on bluegrass, outlaw country, contemporary folk and rock, with Wharff citing influences like Tyler Childers, Billy Strings and Willie Nelson. The band released its debut EP, Richmond’s Most Wanted, last year, followed by their most recent Strange EP.
