Hudson Westbrook has announced that his new single, “Texas Forever,” will be released this Friday, May 30th. The news came via Instagram, where Westbrook wrote, “Texas Forever out this Friday, plus bigger news with it… 🔜,” hinting that there may be more than just a single on the way.
Hudson first teased the new track on his socials early last week, posting a video of himself singing it with the caption, “My favorite song I’ve written so far…” A statement like that sets a high bar, but given the discography he’s built, it’s not far-fetched that Hudson will keep raising that bar with each release.
Westbrook’s debut self-titled EP included songs like “House Again,” which has now been rerecorded in a new version featuring Miranda Lambert. It was released alongside his cover of Lambert’s “The House That Built Me.” This exchange highlights Hudson’s place among country music’s top talents, leaving an impression of undeniable skill and lasting impact.
In addition to the new single, Hudson will hit the road this summer for a stacked run of 2025 shows. He’ll be joining Parker McCollum on select dates, playing CMA Fest in Nashville, and making appearances at various major festivals and one-off shows across the country.
