Gavin Adcock has confirmed the release of his new single, “Last One to Know,” slated for release next Friday, June 27th. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser video depicting Adcock on stage, backed by a clip of “Last One To Know.” A special announcement is also planned to coincide with the release, though specifics remain undisclosed.
Originally from a small town in Louisiana, Adcock, 28, gained recognition last year with his breakout LP “Actin’ Up Again” which highlighted his blend of red dirt music and early 2000s pop-rock. His latest track, “Never Call Again,” was sent to country radio on Monday, June 16th marking another step in his career progression as he inches towards mainstream stardom. He’s also expected to join Morgan Wallen on select dates of his “I’m the Problem” tour later this summer.
As far as his additional, undisclosed announcement, billboards featuring Adcock with the text “Own Worst Enemy” have appeared in Downtown Nashville in the last couple of weeks. Details are unknown if these cryptic graphics hint at a new song, or perhaps his next full-length project.
“Last One To Know” will be out everywhere next Friday, June 27th.
