Darius Rucker will return to the road this summer with his 20-city Songs of Summer Tour, scheduled from June through August.
The tour begins June 4th at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre in Toledo, Ohio before concluding August 1 in Indianapolis. Tickets for most dates go on sale February 27th at 10 a.m. local time, with select cities going on sale in March.
“For me, it’s not summer if we’re not playing music outdoors,” Rucker said in a statement. “When I think of the concerts I love attending, it’s the people, the hits and the hot summer air… there’s nothing that compares, so Songs of Summer in a lot of ways is my nod to being in that moment together.”
Special guests joining select dates on the tour include Lauren Alaina, George Birge, Evan Honer, Old Crow Medicine Show, Robert Randolph and Austin Williams.
VIP packages will be available for select dates and may include premium tickets, a pre-show meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with Rucker, guided backstage tours and exclusive merchandise.
In addition to the tour, Rucker recently announced a one-night-only orchestral performance at Charleston’s Gaillard Center on April 7th, where he will perform with the Charleston Jazz Orchestra. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local music education initiatives and healthcare scholarships.
His most recent album, Carolyn’s Boy, was released in 2023, followed by his 2024 memoir Life’s Too Short.
