This morning, Corey Kent revealed a slew of new dates on his previously announced “Heartland Rock and Roll” tour. The tour is a 24-date North American run beginning Jan. 22nd at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth and ending April 30th at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, where he will make his headline debut at the historic venue.
Tyler Nance will open most dates. Jacob Hackworth will support the three Northeast shows in New Haven, Portland and Boston.
The Heartland Rock and Roll Tour is named for Kent’s third major-label album. The Oklahoma native has described the project as a blend of country, rock and soul. Kent said the tour is a response to a year spent opening for other artists: “It’s time for a headline tour right here in the Heartland.”
